Hi, does anyone know how accurate the wii fit plus is with calories burned? i dont have a HRM yet and i have been taking the calories burned from the wii fit rather then MFP. I find that MFP always has a higher calorie burn then it says on the Wii, Please keep in mind that when i do with Wii Fit Plus i give it my all and play straight threw. Im just wondering if what it says on the wii fit is accurate or not.

I'm skeptical about the calories burned on my Wii Fit Plus - only because I now have a HRM and know what it feels like to burn what I burn. I usually just eat back half of the Wii Fit Plus calories - just because I'm not sure.

I would trust any other source than my Wii. The calories burned are calculated off your age, weight and time. My Wii has never gotten my weight right. It registers anything from 16 to 40 pounds different from what I do weigh. I can get on multiple times in a row and have it register different every time. The board is on a clean hardwood floor, same spot every time. I usually use the MFP calculations, but I only enter 1/2 of the time from the Wii.
