So, I'm going through my day and I have done pretty well with calorie counting. In fact, I learned how to do it very well this weekend!

Fast forward to tonight: After dinner I submitted my daily diary, and I was a little under my suggested calories. I got the STARVATION WARNING so I treated myself to some dark chocolate.

The longer I am vigilant about my calories, the easier, and dare I say fun, it gets! I also don't have nearly as many cravings, so that in turn makes it even easier! ...Now that I went ahead and typed this, watch me plateau for a few days haha!

What are some of the things that have gotten easier with your MFP experience?

One of the things that I've found getting easier and easier is reminding myself to log on each day.

I just hit the 65 days in a row, and I swear that doesn't sound right to me... it just doesn't feel like that much.

Which is a good sign, because this is becoming my lifestyle and not a chore - which is important.

it's a little like a computer game or something: can i hit the nutrients, water, balanced, sodium right, exercise, and come out good in the end? yeah, it is fun some days. something to remember on the days when it is the complete opposite of fun--it will turn fun again. set a new goal to watch each week. like improving a level?

I also agree it has become part of my everyday life. I feel like I'm missing something when I miss a workout now, which is a big change from my former lazy butt habit. As far as calories go, I used to be able to eat nearly my whole days calorie allowance in one meal and now I have to push myself by eating a healthy snack just to get to the minimum 1200 calories needed for daily body function. Its a good problem to have and I have lost 15 pounds in 1 month. This month is starting off slower so I feel I may have reached my leveling off point for quick loss but going to keep pushing for that goal.

I have no trouble logging or riding my bike. It's when I add something new it. Started something new today. I HATE IT! LOL.

Yes, I have found more success since I have been on MFP too. IN fact, I have been more consistent eating good for the first time in many years! It becomes easier and easier. I have learned how to cut out white rice and taht was SUPER hard. I lost 4lbs in a less than a month, but had a few days to treat myself for Thanksgiving and ate a lot past three days and put 2lbs back on. But I am back on it again, and that is rare because before I would give up.

there are certain foods that the longer ive been doing this the easier they are to avoid. and ive always had trouble getting myself to exercise but the mfp community helps to motivate me and get me back into it wen i slip up. i find it more fun, and u see others doing great workouts u want to do them too and have someone tell you "good work". and its easier to remind urself that exercise is fun. and i have found it easier to really notice youve had bad weeks or low motivation, work out why and make changes for the good.
