I'd like to thank everyone who reached out to me...

For those of you coming into this post not knowing the story behind my thanks: My Mom passed away. In short grief had all but paralyzed my life outside my home. I posted about this and many many folks reached out to me. It was so uplifting.
It is so great when friends are supportive but even greater when a total stranger can take time to say a few kind words, share their story, etc.
I am happy and terrified to report that I am going to a job interview today. I have been trying to break into the marketing business for about 9 months. The economy tanked two temp to perm positions in that time. Not complaining about that because they were great resume building blocks. AND everything happens for a reason! I have an interview working on a team that puts together trade shows today at 3:30. It's a great opportunity. I'm so nervous because I will be interviewing with either the Vice President or the President of the company. My suits are all too big, lol. I figure better baggy than too tight, right?!
Fingers crossed and prayers requested!

Hi Frost,
Best to you. Keep us posted. :happy:0 -
I'm not 100 percent certain on how it went. The job is different than I was expecting and they are not definite if they are going to hire for the project or cancel the project. It would be very interesting and give me great experience. We'll see where this adventure goes. In the mean time I will keep applying to other places. I may have to chalk this interview up to practice.0

good thoughts your way on the Ix....your cat? I have a dog and usually have a cat or two around...would like to find a cat that will get along with the Mojo man (my dog)0

Yes he's my cat, Jesper the Laundry Baron. Our dogs and cats all get along well. Of course when we first rescued Sadie (old arthritic previously abused) it took her a while to get used to the idea of dogs as companions. Then after Tori Amos the cat passed we adopted two kittens who took about three months to warm up to Kazar the bigger of our two dogs. Benny is an old rescued Boston. He is almost completely blind, always smells and can barely hear. For some reason the cats love him. They bathe him and kiss him and cuddle up with him. He hated it at first but has come to accept he has been embraced by the feline kind :bigsmile:0 -
Glad to hear you made it out to interview! A huge step
Hope you find the job of your dreams
