NSV: coworker's perception

I have been back to work for a couple of months now after my mat leave for my youngest (I'm in Canada, so it was a year). Of course all of my coworkers noticed I had lost a lot of weight...by the time I went back, it was just over 30 lbs. One of my coworkers offered me a pair of pants she had bought that just didn't fit her right; she didn't like the way they sat at her waist. So she said I could have them. They're size 5!! I'm by no means a size 5 (I'm somewhere between a 7 and a 9 right now), but just the fact that she thought the pants might fit me was the best feeling ever!!

I remember watching a doco about France - at the time they had 2 years mat leave. I totally want to live there if I can have that!!!
