My niece and nephew only want the universal gift this year for Christmas and I am with coming up with a unique way of wrapping/gifting money to them. Any suggestions on what others have done or seen before? In the past I have given gift cards and always try to think of different ways to gift them. One year I carefully opened boxes of cracker jacks and put the gift cards in them. One Year I opened can's of vegetables, cleaned & drained them and put some weight in the cans and put gift cards in them and then resealed the can's. They had to use a can opener to get them open...that was fun. I have given them wallets with the money in the wallets. Given starbucks's gift cards and put them in a starbuck cup with coffee beans in them. But I am just exhausted this year with ideas. Can anyone help me out??? Thanks in advance.

One of my favorite Christmas presents ever hen I was younger was a gift card from my aunt. She had set up a treasure hunt with clues that took me throughout the whole house before I found and unwrapped my present. Which of course was in a box, inside a box, inside a box etc....

I've seen people wrap a giant box with a bunch of littler boxes inside with the last one actually having the money/gift card inside of it. It was kinda cool, definitely throws them off when there's a HUGE box with their names on it!

Go to pinterest.com. There are alot of ideas on there! One that I thought was fun was a box of chocolates (chocolates removed...the old me would just eat them, but now I would give them to someone else to eat lol) and fold up money and put it in the paper cups in the box. They think they got a typical box of Christmas chocolates lol

I made a really cool wreath last year for my daughter. I just got a plain 'ole cheap green wreath from a craft store. I took $20 bills and fanned them back and forth, folded them in the middle then taped them with a little piece of clear tape into a circle. Once they were taped, I took a small red ornament with wire and wrapped it around the center of the folded money. I put a red bow at the top of the wreath. It was festive, it was what she wanted (and needed), and easy. The finished wreath fit nicely in a holiday circular box. She keeps ornaments and the likes in the box now.

I'm in the process of creating something with money this year for my son ... just haven't figured it out yet. Hummmm......

For my first wedding anniversary my mom gave my husband and I $365 and had the bills folded into heart shapes and then attached to a little tree. It was so nice and such a surprise.

I have done that once for my nice. I folded the dollars to where they look like a rose and then attach a stem and leaves from fake flowers and then put them in a nice floral box from the flower shop...was very cool. Have also done this for a wedding gift...very elegant.
Think I am going with the box of candy and gold $1 coins for my nephew. Still not sure about my niece, she is only 16 so not sure the money tree would be age appropriate.
    Ideas still welcome.
