I just happened to be watching Food Network- Paula Deen- and she was making blue cheese compound butter
to put over steak.....
Coincidentally, we were planning a steak cookout this past weekend, so I paid close attention to the show.
It took our steaks to a new level of ectasy!

I think this is my new favorite *secret- WOWzer- weapon* !!!

The ones we had were blue cheese, the other garlic & chives.
They're *easy* to make:
All you do is take 1 stick butter( I used UNsalted) let it soften @ room temperature,
then add whatever combination of seasoning and or cheese might *trip your trigger*, thoroughly blend w/ fork or pastry blender
Mix all the ingredients together until they are well incorporated. Roll the butter into a log-shaped roll, and place it in plastic wrap or waxed paper.
Freeze it for at least two hours before slicing.
Add it to your cooked meat or veggies.
