Hi All!
I have a tendency to do well for a week - have great results and then stop! Not this time! I have to do this to look good and feel good again! However, the first week the weight seems to come off fast and the second week, I seem to plateau...any suggestions on how to get through this and not lose motivation?? I have motivation when I see the scale going down and I don't want to lose the energy. Suggestions and friends would be awesome! I am turning 30 in January and I want to be a sexy mama!!!

I'm 4 weeks in to my MFP journey and I had the same thing happen - very successful first week and nothing at all in the second. But then things kicked off again, and I've just had my fourth week weigh in - 4kgs (9lbs) in 4 weeks. VERY HAPPY!!
Just keep at it and don't get discouraged. Remember, this is not going to be like all the other diets - this is a real lifestyle change. Even if it doesn't happen all in a rush, it will happen over time. There are people on here who are months and years into their journey & they've realised there's no quick fix.
I'm trying really hard to learn from them as much as I can - inspiration abounds, here! :drinker:0 -
Hi - I am on MFP for a little more than 50 days now and I can truly understand what u r saying but trust me - if you don't let this non movement bring you down , you'll be amazed at your results after a little while. Though I am the slowest loser here (have just lost 3.2 kgs) so far but I am happy coz i am not killing myself for it. I workout 4-5 days a week and rest the other 3-2 days.
I haven't stopped eating pizza's once a while with my husband - do enjoy a piece of chocolate almost everyday.
Just like Bex said - its not a diet or a weightloss program, this is a lifestyle change and the slower it will come, the longer it will stay.
Happy to be a friend if u wish to add.
