    the spinach is there at an owners discretion. i've been to many that have lettuce but no spinach and vice versa.

    I went to Subway yesterday they told me they know longer carried spinach. Apparently, they will be serving it until they run out, and then no more. I don't understand. :grumble:

    I always eat Subway, so I am thinking only some places! I hope they dont take spinach off entirely! That would be real disappointing. :/

    Ice burg lettuce is cheaper than spinach, so most likely the owner of the store where you go is cutting costs.

    It is probably time to find a better sandwich shop than gross Subway.

    That sucks!! the subway i go to has spinach, I prob would find a diff one if they stopped carrying it...

    I haven't paid attention to the news lately,but if you remember a few years ago when there was a huge E. coli break out there had been spinach involved. Subway stopped carrying it at that point in time as well.

    So, it may be a health issue.

    I'd see if you can talk to the owner or manager and ask why they're not carrying it, if they could, etc. Maybe if they have enough people complain they'll bring it back?

    Yep. For example, I can't get green chile at the Subways where I live, but you can in some Subways in Arizona and New Mexico.

    You could always add your own. :smile:

    I'm jealous that you guys got spinach in the first place lol! I haven't see that at any of the Subways in Canada :(

    Complain to the owner. Subway's are franchise restaurants and most likely have a local owner or at least talk to the manager.

    The Subway right next door to my work had no spinach for a year and I complained every single time I went in there. Now they do. They call me The Spinach Lady. :smile:

    Seriously? W.T.F. I went to get a veggie today and they didn't have spinach. It was pretty late so I'd assumed they ran out. If this is permanent I'm gonna be SO pissed D:< and never buy from them again. I always asked for extra too :(

    Yep must be the owners discretion I just had Subway the other day and I always get spinach not blah iceberg lettuce. It would be enough to make me not go there if I couldn't get it.
