I started training for real again end of september this year. No weight lost really but inches down, which is as good.
I don't focus on food really for now, I want to get the shape back and gym routine in really good.

BUT, after Xmast, I would like to focus more on food. My habits are good but I would like to get real results. I mean real bikini results for next summer.

I am looking at something like her :

Any tips, tricks, idea to make this startup a good one and not something I will whish to let go after a week?

She posts on here. You could ask her what she does.

I feel the same way. I don't want to get too strict about my eating right now because I'm not going to deprive myself over Christmas from all the foods that I LOVE but only get to eat once or twice a year so I'm not going to bother with that until after Christmas. I just plan on trying to work out lots and not to pig out too much.

I'll be checking back to see what others have to say since I don't have any advice or anything.

    Hey there!

Questions: 1) do you have a competition date set? I ask, because for me, it was easy to keep myself on track with a set date. One reason was because I knew I could not give up and two was because I did not want to get laughed off stage and three, because I wanted to win. 2) do you have a trainer? For me, I know that also helped me stay on track.

As far as food, in the beginning of training, I cut out the butter, cheese, fried foods, and cut back on the fast food and processsed foods. For me, the beginning was also bulking, so I increased my protein, carbs and fat. (I see you are going start working on that after Christmas).

I'm always around if you have any more questions (or if my response was off).

    Surprising, unexpected, but titillating?

I don't intend to do competition yet. I am far from that physically and I would like to do this for me first... (long time wish ;-)) For the laughing, well, should not be to bad, at the very worst, I will have to cheat a tiny bit until everybody is used to it but food habits are good in my friends and family. Should go well.

I have a trainer but I don't take it as personal trainer bases, because of the money (they cost a lot) and also commitment I did not want to have at first. I have programs at the gym redone every 8 weeks and I train for 3 to 4 times a week so far, I think for a start it is good, I hope.

I will try what you told me in terms of food. I am sure it will do great difference too since I am not loosing weight right now with my current goal, I think my body got used to it.

Thanks for your help, I will add you up in my friends to see your progress in competition.

Whether it be for competing or personal, I'm here, either way with whatever help I can give, or to at least share what worked for me.

And, on the trainer, I TOTALLY get that. It cost me an arm and a leg almost to pay for mine during the 4 months I trained to prep for my competition. I am seriously considering going at it with no trainer for my next one, because of that, and because I feel like I might have it under enough control to go it alone (with hubs, of course).

I think 3 to 4 times a week is a great start. Happy to have you as a new friend!
