Idea for MFP food database

I was thinking - I really like looking at the pie chart feature on my iphone app, showing me the percentage of fat, protein and carbs for the day or week.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could see a pie chart for every food that's logged so you could see how each individual food is contributing to your daily macros? I know you can figure it out on your own (what foods have a higher percentage of protein, carbs, etc). but it would be neat to compare and contrast different options based on their pie chart. It would be a quick way to see which snack or meal would be a better option. Anyway, just an idea I had :)

  • That sounds like a really good idea! Hopefully MFP take it on board,

On a side note: what app do you use?

A friend of mine has the iPhone app, and I saw that. I'm so jealous! They don't have that on the Android version. I'd love it if they would add that to the website (or if it's already here, I can't find it).

It's not quite as helpful, but nutritiondata.com has a wealth of information on select foods. It is certainly missing a lot, but worth checking out :)
