C25K - Calories burned

Hi All,
Does any of you have idea as to how many calories we're burning doing the C25K program? I mean according to our weight and the number of reps we do on this, it would be great if we can know how much we're burning on how much we're working for.
Also since the program efficiency changes on weekly basis, i believe as weeks progress we burn more calories and so it would be wonderful if we can track them as per the weeks schedule.
Thanks

how much you burn depends on many factors, including how heavy you are and how hard you're working. The only sure way to know is to get a heart rate monitor that tells you your calorific burn. Don't rely on treadmills and other gym equipment to tell you how much you're burning. They're not very accurate

You can't calculate calories burnt just based on the workout itself. It varies greatly from person to person.
The best way is to buy a HRM (Heart Rate Monitor), this will allow you to with some degree of accuracy calculate the calories burned based on your profile.0 -
I just enter how many minutes I walked and at what speed and how many minutes I ran/jogged and at what speed. Easy! Also I dont have a HRM so this is the best way for me.0

I did the same thing when I was doing C25K and this gave me pretty reasonable numbers.
Now i use Runkeeper on my iPhone which calculate calories burned by time/distance/weight. It doesn't take heart rate into consideration but it means that I don't have to spend money on an HRM!0 -

The average 150lb male burns 100 calories a mile REGARDLESS of how fast you do that mile.
According to all the calculations and algorhythms I've used...I weigh at this point 172-174lbs, and I burn about 115 calories per mile on average (basing on several different calculations)0 -
I use a Garmin Forerunner 205 for EVERYTHING!! It gives a great deal of information, including calories burned according to your weight. It even has a navigation.0

My app for c25k and b210k have a function to state how many calories you burn. It works best when you've got the GPS function on, if you're doing it one treadmill, I'm not sure of its accuracy, but I've found it to be within 10 calories of my HRM (polar FT4) reading consistently. I think my app's by runhelper.0
