I don't know about you, but chocolate is my weakness. Since starting on my weight loss journey I've all but cut it out of my diet completely. But lately had been craving it, so thought I'd try something a little different. Instead of picking up a chocolate bar (like I used to do), I decided to try those little pudding cups instead.

Ok, I know it's not going to have the same consistency as a candy bar, but it's definitely chocolatey and quenches that chocolate craving.

Kraft Handi-Snacks chocolate pudding cups has only 100 calories a cup. I like to put mine in the freezer (that way it forces me to eat it slowly. heheh). I've also discovered that they are only a dollar for a 4 pack where I shop. So that equals .25 cents a pudding cup! Awesome!

Anyway, I love 'em and thought I'd share that with you guys in case some of you where looking for a low cal chocolate desert. :D

We don't have those specific ones in UK or Germany, but I used to eat the ones from a brand called "optiwell" which is basically a little cup with low fat chocolate pudding and vanilla sauce or vanilla pudding with chocolate sauce. They also had a rice pudding which I absolutely loved. All for just 96kcal! But the thing is that it turned out to make me want to eat more and more and more....

It has taken a long time but I have got used to eating nothing but low fat natural yoghurt when it comes to that department. Sometimes I add unsweetened apple sauce or other fruit/nuts etc.... So I am going out of the way of all of this horrible artificial stuff all these brands put in there products.....And the cravings are under control ever since. :)

But thanks for sharing anyway! It is always nice to see how others deal with cravings!

Good for you, congrats. Thanks for your perspective anyway.
  • I would look for the Skinny Cow brand ice creams at the grocery store. My trainer turned me on to them and allows me to have one every other night. They have a couple that are 100 calories. You will not know they are not full of fat and sugars like other ice creams.
