What Kind of ideas are you looking for? I have tons!0

decorating!
i'm pretty good. in the past i've made cakes looking like dolls, flower gardens, cat littler box, hamburger, superman, etc....
this pizza idea will be new to me. what stuff might i use for toppings?
thank you. robin0 -
some red icing for the base of course, you could use marzipan or stiff icing in different colours to make the vegetables, and I reckon grated white chocolate would make a pretty good cheese substitute.
Happy baking!0 -
Oh fun! Shred up some white chocolate for cheese. Pepperonis out of red fondant. hmmmm.... sausage from rolled up brown fondant?0
-
Do a big cookie instead. The geometry is better.0
-
could i simply use a regular pizza pan to bake it in? i'ld build up the sides w/ tin foil!0
-
I'd use cherry pie filling for the "pizza sauce," shredded coconut for the "mozzarella cheese," sliced strawberries for the "pepperonis".... just be creative! I love the idea, though! Hope everything works out great for you!0

you could use peanut chocolate clusters (I can't for the life of me think of the name, but there are generic versions too) to look like sausage. I'll bet if you wander down a candy isle in any store you could get loads of ideas. Also- dried fruit would work well! Maybe apricots or dried cranberries? Sounds like a cute idea though0

I've seen people torch the decorated cake to give it a melted, slightly burnt look. But professionals were doing it so I don't know if you'd want to try it. At least not without some practice0

The easiest thing I could suggest would be to put red frosting down over the cake, ( I would do a yellow cake). Either make or buy red fondant and roll it into a log about the diameter of pepperoni. Slice it thin and place around it. You could use real cheese, but I don't think it would taste good. You could use fondant to make most of the toppings and using a frosting tip, pipe on the cheese.
BTW I am making a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. If you are interested, I will send you some pics so you can see my work! Best of luck to you and hope it turns out well.0 -

wow you are so talented, the hamburger! Could you use some of the same filling that you used on the hamburger for the topping? Could you use a cookie dough as the base? I was thinking that marshmallows might be good, 'cause I like the idea of using the flame-thrower thing chefs use (can't remember the name) to slightly brown the things on the top that are meant to be cheese (white chocolate). You could alternatively melt the white chocolate and pipe it on the top to look like melted cheese?
Aren't there sweets out there that look like vegetables?
Probably not what you are looking for, but I've made a sweet pizza before - nutella and pear, so yum with cream.
