Soooo I've been maintaining a workout routine for about 3 months. It usually consists of like 20 mins of running on the treadmill and then 20 minutes on another machine, most recently the stairmaster.....
But in the past month I've been experiencing pain in my calves when I run, not like "my muscles are being worked" pain but actual "ouch" pain.....and today I was at my job as a cashier and my calves actually started cramping well I guess it would be the muscles...but can any of u fitness pros be able to tell me wuts causing this and if I should be switching exercise???

My guess would be you're overworking them. I run, and my trainer says if you have pain that doesn't subside within 10 minutes or so after stopping the activity then it may actually be an injury. I would take some time off running and do something that doesn't put some much strain on your calves. I also do definitely recommend a foam roller. Those things are amazing!0
