I saw the can you be overweight and anorexic post, So I have a question.
Can you be simply average or thin withing healthy range and be considered anorexic?

Ok let me explain this, anorexia is a disease it has NOTHING to do with weight. I really dont understand why that is so hard for people to grasp. I have known lots of people with eating disorders and not a single one of them has been underweight from a medical perspective. The reason you never see "healthy" weight people in ED clinics is because in order for them to be admitted they have to be underweight. Also many insurance companies will only pay for you to go to a clinic if you are under a certain bmi.0
