'Pushing Through'

I don't feel like I'm working out hard enough, but I don't know how to push through to take my workouts to the next level. When your knees are buckling, your muscles are burning, the sweat is pouring, and you feel like you want to quit, how do you push through? I know most people say its mind over matter, but how do you convince your body of this? What do you tell yourself? Looking for any advice or suggestions...

    Perhaps your body needs a break. Do you have rest days? I believe 1-2 rest days are recommended (ask your doctor).
