UK only - Where did you get your cholesterol tested?

Hi
I want to get my cholesterol tested as a base line for my diet and exercise plan ... if you got yours done where did you go? Will my GP do it?

    I think the GP would do it....think the practice nurse would do it, actually, rather than the doctor.

    I'm not sure if some chemists do it, too. Like Lloyds tests for diabetes so they might be able to do cholesterol testing, too.

    Also, depending on your employer, sometimes workplaces do health visits where nurses etc. come out and check these things for you, particularly if you work for the local council.

    yeah GP should do it. I havent had mine tested but my stepdad did and he just made an appointment and asked for it x
