My First NSV!!!

So, I was pretty upset yesterday because my scale said that I had gained 3.5 lbs since Saturday. I vented on MFP and got a LOT of support...and you were all right!!
This morning, when I got ready for work, I grabbed a pair of slacks that I bought 2 years ago when I first started my job (they were too tight in the hips/butt, but they were too cute not to buy them) and I slid them on, thinking, "okay, anytime now I'm going to have to do the 'jumping, sucking it in, and stand as straight as I can thing' (you know what I'm talking about) to get these things on."

But guess what! They fit!!!!!!!!!! And....with a little room to spare!! Woo-hoo!! I want to thank you ALL for the words of encouragement and support...I honestly could not have gotten past that hurdle without you (and that's the hurdle that has been keeping me back all these years)!! THANK YOU!!

Congrats! There's a definite joy in finding old NEW clothes. I have a closet full of past purchases, worn once clothes. Enjoy the new found treasure.

Awesome! Today was a good day for me too! I put on a winter coat from last year that "just" fit and when I put it on today it was rather big! So excited! Keep up the good work!
