Need someone to yell at me

Ok so I have to confess, I pretty much stopped both eating healthy and exercising for a good solid month and a half. Now 10 lbs later I regret it completely.
Fear not, I have recently joined a gym (I got a new job and my last office had its own fitness center) and have been doing boxing classes as well as their boot camp classes. I know it will take time to recover but I definitely need someone to yell at me to stop with the bad food!
Hopefully my recent folly will deter others from making the same mistake.

Look in the mirror. That is the person you are responsible to. Apologize for letting them down and promise you will do what it takes from today onward. They might not be that forgiving at first, but if you keep true, they will forgive you.0

Maximus,
You know what you need to and are supposed to do. Now is the time to get up and DO IT!!! Stop feeling sorry for yourself and get angry at those pounds. You know how to eat the right foods and you know how to do the exercise.... now just need to get up and GO!!!
does that work.... Im no good at being mean! :flowerforyou:0 -

Forget stopping the bad food for now, one thing at a time. I have a different request for you: ADD healthy food! What healthy foods do you already like? Eat them in addition to your regular diet. When you can, branch out and try some other healthy foods. Keep it "in addition to", so you don't feel deprived.
Your body wants to heal itself, and it will learn that these foods have nutrients it wants. Be good to yourself, forgive yourself, and give your body the nutrients it needs (in the form of food, NOT crappy vitamins!). Eat junk on the side if you really want to. If you're like me, your taste buds will slowly start to change accordingly, providing sustainable, lasting change.
As someone told me last night, and I completely agree - get healthy first, then lose weight.0 -
Final bit of motivation maybe:
The Dangers of Yo-yo Dieting, http://www.livestrong.com/article/368946-the-dangers-of-yo-yo-dieting/
Constant fluctuations in weight loss/gain can:
a) compromise your immune system making it harder to attack viruses.
b) can lead to cardiovascular issues and metabolic disorders.
c) makes you feel sucky (more susceptible to depression).
I have this problem too so let's stick to this shizzle together!!!0 -
hah you like tough love? i work the same way and that is how i train ppl! and so far everyone thats come with me is seeing great results, they love it and i work them literally until the person collapses and they love it!!!
Just think about it... whats getting you through life? not your mom, not your dad, not your brother, not your sister, not your best friend, NOBODY! its YOU! all you got is YOU, YOUR drive and YOUR self-diciplin! This is probley one of the hardest to do is full out dedicate yourself to train! you have to have the drive, the chase, and self-diciplin to change your life! if you fail at this... ull fail at most other things.. because u cant even keep a promise to YOURSELF to make a change and be healthy! Everything you do in life regardless if its working out, washing dishes, cleaning the house you should be doing it to your absolute best! because if you think about it... if you cant have the diciplin to workout and change your diet or wash the dishes good because you are too lazy... how could u ever be expected to do anything great in life like run a multi-billion dollar company? Ones you set a goal there is NO EXCUSES! doesnt matter if you are sick, if you are tired, if your grandmother died, if you have to go drinking with friends or w/e ur excuse might be!!! you are supposed to suck it up! eat healthy and hit the gym!!! once ur there u will get the extra kick of energy and will have a great workout! i promise you!
now eating ****ty foods or drinking... why do you need it? lets say you go out with friends n they are eating junk so yes u want some too.. just have a "cheat day and have 1 meal" this way you can look forward to that day if u really have cravings.. and yes at first ur friends will go "wooow whats wrong with u man, why you being gay like that?" just tell em u set a goal n ur going after it.. after about 6months of hard work the same friends are gonna go.. "HOLY F*CKING **** MAN!!! UR EFFIN JAKKKED!" n the other friend sees u change in the gym and tells you when you take your shirt off "WOOOW MAN! i want to look exactly like that!" and then all of them want to go to gym with you.. trust me.. thats what happened to me! as for drinking... i know u didnt say anything bout it but ur 22 so im sure u go to bars n drinks... last time i drank was july 31st my bday... drinking raises estrogen and lowers testostrone for 4 days is it really worth runing ur workout for almost a week? to be hammered for a night? i have a friend in estonia, he orgenizes huge parties and events for a radio station, he is partying almost all week... and he drinks maybe once in like 2-3 months because he wants to stay in shape n take care of his body! yet he still has hell of a fun time!!! so think about ur goals n go after em! no excuses!
here are some wall papers/pics for ya to keep you motivated once in while!!!

Hey, at least you know how to catch yourself before things really get out of control. I can't yell at you because I think you're in the safezone. You'll get back on track!0

try to make your largest meal each day the healthiest. Then when you've got that down add another healthy meal. Sometimes it just takes time to reorganize. Ok, now the yelling...
COME ON! GET IT TOGETHER AND EAT RIGHT.
is that better?0 -
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Jesus H. Christ! Private Pyle, why is your footlocker unlocked?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, I don't know, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Private Pyle, if there is one thing in this world that I hate, it is an unlocked footlocker! You know that, don't you?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, yes, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: If it wasn't for ****heads like you, there wouldn't be any thievery in this world, would there?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, no, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Get down!
[Private Pyle steps down from the footlocker. Hartman flips open the lid with a bang.]
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Well now... let's just see if there's anything missing!
[Sergeant Hartman dumps out the top layer of the box, turns back towards the bottom section, then freezes.]
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Holy Jesus! What is that? What the **** is that?
[He slowly picks up a jelly doughnut and holds it in disgust with his fingertips.]
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: WHAT IS THAT, PRIVATE PYLE?!
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, a jelly doughnut, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: A jelly doughnut?!
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, yes, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: How did it get here?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, I took it from the mess hall, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Is chow allowed in the barracks, Private Pyle?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, no, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Are you allowed to eat jelly doughnuts, Private Pyle?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, no, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: And why not, Private Pyle?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, because I'm too heavy, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Because you are a disgusting fat body, Private Pyle!
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, yes, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Then why did you hide a jelly doughnut in your foot locker, Private Pyle?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, because I was hungry, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Because you were hungry?
[Sergeant Hartman starts to walk down the line of recruits, with the jelly doughnut still at hand.]
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Private Pyle has dishonored himself and dishonored the platoon! I have tried to help him, but I have failed! I have failed because you have not helped me! You people have not given Private Pyle the proper motivation! So, from now on, whenever Private Pyle ****s up, I will not punish him, I will punish all of you! And the way I see it, ladies, you owe me for one jelly doughnut! Now, get on your faces!
[The other recruits get in front-leaning-rest position.]
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: [to Pyle] Open your mouth!
[He shoves the jelly doughnut into Pyle's mouth.]
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: They're paying for it, you eat it!0 -
