Good morning to all,
This is a practice that teaches the joy in being content. When practiced daily can spread peace a happiness to yourself and all whom you encounter.

I am thankful for the following:
1. my brilliant hubby who fought to be my husband and works hard to make me happy each and every day.
2. The strength I have gained in my weight loss journey, I can now make the rite choices to maintain a healthy life.
3. that my hubby decided on his own that it is his time to begin his weight loss journey, and that I have completed mine so I may have empathy for what he is going through.
4. we can afford what we we need and still have savings.
5. we can a ford to live comfortably without me working.
6. our health.

Please share what you are thankful for and if you remember anything throughout the day just add it.

Frequent, satisfying bowel movements. I see too many stories on here of folks being plugged up for days.

When my daughter was a child of 8 or 9, she went through a stage of complaining. When she began to whine, I would make her stop where she was and before she could move she would have to say out loud 10 things she was thankful for. So, thank you for stopping me in my tracks and making me do the same:

    10. My motorcycle accident. Weird, yes, but it saved my life as I had to address my unhealthy lifestyle.
    9. My wife, who has tolerated and even loved me for 25 years! Ok, we've been married 27, but 2 weren't so good. ;)
    8. My daughter, who is at the University on a full scholarship.
    7. My oldest son, who is one of the kindest people I know, and an awesome drummer.
    6. My youngest son, who seems to stay on restriction... ugh... but he has kindness for the less fortunate.
    5. My job with the same employer, which is providing, and has done so for 18 years.
    4. MFP friends, who are a source of support in this otherwise formidable transformation.
    3. The encouraging words of workplace friends and neighbors and others in my community.
    2. Apple for my Macbook and iphone...

and the # 1 reason that I am thankful:
    1. I hung on to all of my "skinny" clothes, bc without them I would be naked right now. Lol

Not used to doing this . . .I usually concentrate on all the things that are going wrong . . .I'll try lol!!

    1) My 8 month old puppy who has helped me in loads of ways . . .especially the daily, much needed walks!
    2) My 15 year old daughter . . .even when shes being stroppy!!
    3) My 11 year old son, who never ceases to amaze me with his sensitivity and emotions! (and that he's still has tantrums!!)
    4) My 9 year old son who is turning into the family comedian!
    5) My husband (SOMETIMES!!!!) . .he loves me no matter what size I am, and helps me with my depression even though he struggles to always understand :)
    6) For, completely by accident, discovering MFP!!

thats all I got for now . . .will keep thinking though!

    Thanku :)
