Inexpensive wedding gift ideas

My friend is getting married this weekend., They did not register anywhere b/c they could not think of anything they really needed. Me being her best friend, I feel I should get her a gift anyways. I don't have a job right now so I don't have much money. What kinds of things could I give her that would be meaningful for her and her new husband?

A commemorative Christmas ornament - if they celebrate Christmas. They can be personalized and are inexpensive.0

Since their wedding is around the holidays, you can definitely get them a holiday themed gift.
I just ordered my Fiancee and I personalized stockings from this site.0 -
Do you have access to any video software that you can use to put together a little movie about them and what they mean to you? Gather all the pictures you can and do a voiceover as they appear on the screen. You can tell the story of how you met them, what their relationship means to you, what you wish for their future happiness, tell funny stories, etc... Or add music that means something special. Mac has this kind of software but I forget what it's called. Maybe iMovie?0

Sounds unromantic, but one of the best gifts we got at our wedding was a small safe. I think they are about $30 - $50 at Wal-mart. We keep our important papers and such in there.0

Have their wedding invitation framed for them. Something like that always makes them smile :-)0

I found a vintage postcard of where my friends proposal happened & got a frame to fit. She said it was the best gift ever.0

A coupon for assistance ... help them move, cook a dinner for them, babysit, watch their place while they honeymoon, a house cleaning... you get the idea. Use your computer and make them up fancy, maybe add some pictures of them together.0

My sister-in-law did this for us in a 3 section frame. The invitation is in the middle with a picture of my husband and I during our ring exchange on one side and a picture of our hands together on my bouquet on the other side. She ran out between the ceremony and reception to Wal-Mart and got the pictures printed real quick. I love it!0
