When I add my cardio it gives me extra calories. Since I'm trying to lose, I want to stay at 1200 and do the 30 minutes of cardio each day. I thought the rule of thumb was to eat less, excercise more.
It is giving me 1 calorie for each calorie burned.
Why?

Because MFP calculates your intake based on no exercise.......so eat your exercise calories! In this case exercise more.....eat more!0

Eating my exercise calories was the whole reason I started working out in the first place. And then I couldn't work out for a long time and now I'm out of the habit, and I really need to get back on the workout train because I want more snacks. :laugh:0 -
1200 is just way too low. please, don't eat that little. you should have it set for 1lb per week loss, and hopefully it'll give you something like 1450 calories. i bet you'll feel better and get better work outs in.0
