I haven't been able to work out the last few days because of really bad shin splints so obviously I have to eat less but omg I'm so hungry! Any ideas on good filling foods that are low in calories? I have been drinking water  Thanks!

Can you do some weight training or other activities that will limit the use of your shins? That way you are at least doing some kind of activity. Make sure when you eat have a good ratio of complex carbs, lean protein and healthy fats. That will help fill you up. Also high fiber foods. For example just dont have a piece of fruit for snack, have some peanut butter, or nuts, or reduced fat cheese with it. I hope that helps...hang in there!!! :flowerforyou:

A good filling snack for me is Pop Secret Kettle Corn 100 Calorie Pack. You get to eat the whole bag, and it is crunchy, sweet, and salty!! all wrapped up in one.

Big salad with lots of added veggies and fat free dressing with some lean ham or chicken breast.

    Very funny Dave!

Vegetables. Eat tons of good salad, spinach, broccoli, etc. Trust me, they are shockingly healthy (I had handfuls of spinach tonight, very filling, way below 50 calories.) So stick to that, and you just might have problems eating ALL of your calories :)

If you're not going over on your salt, having a cup of hot chicken broth actually feels like you're having something really yummy and its like 10 calories.

Start eating a gigantic bowl of salad/lettuce before/with your meals. Some of the true balsamic vinaigrettes only have like 15-20 calories.

Look for Pop Secret Homestyle Popcorn. Its not all buttery tasting, but the ENTIRE 3 cup bag is like 105 calories. Just try and feel hungry after 3 CUPS of popcorn!!! I dare you!!

Oatmeal keeps me full, its really good if you add some hot chocolate mix to it. Its 180 calories and it fills you up and you get a chocolate fix out of it.

Otherwise popcorn, it get light butter or smart pop. You can eat the whole bag and its around 120calories.

I also like frosted mini wheats, they keep me full longer too.
