Green Team Challenge Idears.........

I think this is obviously an extension to the challenge Purr picked for us, my goal in posting this was to be sure that we didn't miss out on a challenge this week, since apparently I was the BL last week and didn't know til like Sunday.....I am burning out on not having a more structured group and have joined another to keep me going....I love everyone here, just need to stay motivated thats all.
i know what u mean, i was also feeling disappointed we didn't have challenges on the Green Team and was happy i was the BL this week to have a challenge running for sure. i didn't mean to assign a second challenge over yours but i really didn't find this thread until now. i live in Europe and when you post in the evenings, it's late night for me and i'm sleeping, then when i get up you guys are sleeping so when i wake up the thread is scrolled somewhere on the further pages and i couldn't find it until someone posted a little before i looked and it was seen as 'recent topics'
the teams/challenges make it feel like a cool game i am playing trying to reach goals - instead of what would otherwise be just old-fashioned weight losing. let's hope we do better and improve each week! :flowerforyou: i'm so happy i found MFP0 -
What I like to do is to build on each challenge. So, our water, cardio, green veggies this week will continue next week along with whatever other challenges there may be and those will continue to the following week, etc. I feel like these challenges are learning experiences and need to be applied to daily life.0

i second that, the team needs more 'discipline'... it's not that we are pushing anyone to do anything but it's a way to remind everyone what's good for their health because there's a lot more to it than just losing the pounds
water and cardio can be added to the official GT spreadsheet i guess and we check progress on that every week as well. the green veggies is just for this week, they are definitely important for being a natural resource of vitamins etc but it's not very easy to calculate how much you've had each week. i will do the spreadsheet this week, i usually have a lot of free time so it's fine by me, i really want to motivate everyone while keeping myself motivated at the same time :flowerforyou:0 -

First and foremost my green buds, I'm sorry I haven't participated in the challenges. I set a few simple goals for myself and struggle to make those:grumble: so I want to be careful that I don't over do it for ME as I am afraid of backing out from internal struggles. With that said, I still love reading about your successes. So don't think I'm a debbie downer just self preservation.
I love the GT and I'm so happy to have landed with such a great set of motivators!0 -

Oh, ok. I think that would be up to n2 or loser4real. You might want to pm them with your suggestion?0 -

Congratulations on recognizing your limitations! I think we all need to do this more often, otherwise we end up killing ourselves trying to meet goals that will be unattainable for us. Thanks for your continued support of this team:flowerforyou:0 -
Thanks yeahbuddy,
I know that if I feel overwhelmed I may try to either not post or shy away because I don't want to fail............but I did post my greens for today, so I'm better than I thought. I also did 40 minutes on the bike today, retaining that adding 5 minutes to my cardio as I said I would do last week.0
