Last Food of the night

It's my first day trying this site... I always noticed with every diet I've ever been on, I always panic a bit when I'm eating my last calories/points/food for the night. My doctor says I have an eating disorder and I'm having so much trouble battling it. I'm stressing out a bit right now as I finish my calories for the day and then hit that "close my logging for the day" button.

if you can, try to think of it in a positive way; I can't wait to hit the button each night and see the prediction for how much I'll weigh in 5 weeks. It makes me happy every time I see it.0

Thanks, that is a good idea. It helps take the dread away a bit.0

What scares you the most???0

It's not really something in particular... with me it's just the fact that I'm DONE for the day. My brain starts to go into panic mode and race like crazy...0

Are you an overeater? I used to have this problem and I can tell you it gets easier. It is tough to deal with at first, but you will be able to move on eventually. Stay positive!0

Yeah he said it's a "binge" eating disorder. I dont make myself throw up or anything. I just eat uncontrollably and if I try and restrain myself my head feels like it's absolutely racing.0

I never hit the button. I have a problem with closure. If I don't hit the button I know I can always go back even the 95% of the time I don't I just like to know I can. Yes I am crazy.0

Not crazy... i hear that loud and clear0

You know, I kinda get a wierd feeling at night too, at the end of my day...especially after I eat dinner I start thinking, ok, what am I eating next and how long am I waiting to snack on that......I am up late all the time....1-3am some nights, I eat dinner at 7pm......so if I am up til 3am, you better believe I am suffering. BUT, my thoughts are this, you are likely like most of us in that you set your calorie deficit at 1000, with the hopes that you will lose 2 pounds a week, the faster the better. But honestly, what good is eating healthy if you feel miserable about it?????? If you have to eat something, then just eat it. But make a healthy choice. I like a 150 calorie Weight Watchers brownie (if I mix in a bit more water it turns into a fluffy cake) and sugar free fat free chocolate milk.....just leave your calories open and mark them......maybe as you get the swing of things you will start to give up some of that eating.................hang in there this is a life change......and if it was easy we all would be thin........
Hang tight.:flowerforyou:0 -
I've never hit the button cause I didn't know what the point of it was!  I am going to start it tomorrow!0
