NSV Moving on down the belt loop!

When I first started trying to lose weight again, I couldn't even buckle this belt. It was too short by nearly 2 inches. I had lost 80 pounds previously, and this belt had become way too big back then. Suffice to say, I was extremely upset when I found it again and couldn't even dream of getting it on. Now, I'm on the 4th hole (the first hole is hidden by the loop) and can squeeeeeeeze into the 5th hole if I want to have super muffin top, haha.
You want to know my secret for losing all of this weight? Eat less, move more! I eat healthier foods (most days) than before, I exercise more than ever, and I track every bite I take. It hasn't been easy, there have been days that I've wanted to just say $@%^ it and stuff my face with a large pizza and tubs of ice cream. There are still days where I'll choose a candy bar over yogurt, and I'll choose to sit on my butt rather than workout. I don't beat myself up over it, I just try to make better decisions as I go along.
The best part of this? I don't deprive myself like the first time I lost the weight. If I want that full fat ice cream, I have it and plan around it. When I was following Weight Watchers, I'd eat all the low calorie ice creams but they wouldn't satisfy me so I'd eat multiples. The act of depriving myself of food I loved ended up destroying all of my progress because I ended up introducing them back into my diet with no restriction. It built up and eventually I ended up right back where I started. Now, I can eat just a little bit of the real thing and I'm happy.
So, everyone who has read this far, kudos to you! It takes work, it's not going to happen overnight. I've been at this for almost a year now and have a long ways to go but I feel I can maintain this for the rest of my life.

My favorite part! Congrats on your NSV! One day you'll have to kiss that belt good-bye again for being too big!0 -

I can't wait for that day and I'm dreading it at the same time, this is my favorite belt! Of course, I've got my eye on one of my fiances and I'll dance a jig the day I fit in it, I've never fit into anything of his.0
