I just want to get on my box for a minute and rant about chain restaurants. YOU WOULD THINK in this day and age a "quality" seafood chain that rhymes with Slap Your Ho would have nutritional information readily available. BUT NO, I call them and the Manage tells me they have no idea what the calories are on the dishes that they make them in bulk. That really makes me want to drop $80-100 on a dinner there. WTF, and they don't even have allergen info. That really frosts my cake.

I never go with chains, no mattah what. Well, unless I'm with people who are going there, which is rare. Surely there's a local joint that's far, far better in Chi-town for $20 plates... gotta be... and they'd tell you ingredients no doubt, too, if not know the data.

Problem is this is a group going out for my BIL's birthday. I told DH that we can go and I'll not eat. I'd rather not spend $28.95 for a crappy steak and then get sick. The way the manager responded to my questions didn't give me the warm fuzzy I get when I ask at local restaurants.

slap your ho? i can't think of what it is...lol inbox me if you don't want to put it here... I asked for a nutritional sheet at chik fil a of all places. The manager brought it to my table and then informed me if i had any ideas on how i would change the menu to let them know...lol
