Guys,

Please give me huge kick up the backside! I was doing well with my exercise for 2.5 weeks , fell poorly with the flu so didn't do it for a week, then got back onto it for 3 days, didn't do any yesterday but I gutted my entire house from top to bottom, scrubbed everything in sight and it took me 7 hours so I'm guessing I burned a fair amount doing that but today I have no motviation. I want to lose weight, I want to feel healthier but I can't seem to get over this slump. Food wise I've been pretty good, one or 2 slips but nothing monumentous.

Tell me all the bad things that I don't want to hear, tell me to get off my fat *kitten* and just get on with it ...

I wish I could afford a personal trainer or even have a keep fit buddy so I would stay motivated and not just think "oh I'll do it later" of course later never comes.

Ahhhh POOO I really dislike myself sometimes, I'm so blooming lazy! I have a treadmill and dvd's so I really have no excuse.

Come in hit me with it *wince*

I'm not going to tell you bad things, because everyone slips up, but I will give you some news that I'm not sure you know about... Did you know that you can add house cleaning to your list of daily exercises? I'll add it in there when I do a bunch of mopping and sweeping, and put it under "light house cleaning", or something like that... I'll have to double check what the exact wording is...

And if you need someone to hold you accountable, join one of the support groups... I'm on Sisterhood HCP week 5... It stands for Sisterhood of the Holy Crap I fit these Pants!!! We weigh in once a week and give progress updates... Don't be so hard on yourself!!! You're doing just fine!!!!:flowerforyou:

I fully understand feeling lazy- since I gave up horse riding, I'm the worst culprit. But I'm at over 200lbs, so you can see it's done me NO good. Just think- the more you exercise, the closer you move to your goal. Like you say, "later" will never come. So why not do it now? It won't be so bad once you start it and just think how good it'll feel once you're done. You can do it!

First of all, I don't think anyone could beat you up more than you have yourself. But you've done great. After having the flu, getting back into exercising again can be hard but YOU DID IT! And cleaning and gutting your house, you put me to shame. Oh yeah, all while being a mommy.

There's a possibility that you did SO much yesterday that your body is saying "Please love me and let me have a break".

Keep eating healthy, listen to your body, and exercise in small increments if you have to. You're honestly doing awesome. Keep up the great work!
