Hi folks!
I'm happy I stumbled across this website! I used to use a program similar to this several years ago, but it was on a monthly subscription.
A little background info: I spent 8 years active duty military, and the last 3 of that I was heavily in to mixed martial arts (trained almost every day). I got out 2 years ago, and fell off my PT routine, and was also unable to continue with the martial arts training. I started putting on weight.
I'm determined to get back in to the shape/fitness level I was at 2-3 years ago, and find a place where I can start training again with martial arts, even if its only once a week (finances are not what they used to be).
I'm definitely happy I found this website, as it will hopefully provide me with the accountability I need to keep track of my calories and exercise. I'm also lucky in that I've recently found a gym partner, so we keep each other on track. We meet 3 times a week to do strength training, and do cardio on our own, though we might start doing the cardio together, too.
I'd love it if I found an e-buddy here to help out as well. It's always easier to keep on top of this if you have someone else you check in with - someone you can be motivated by, as well as be motivation to.
