Too large a deficit?

I've heard a lot here about ruining your metabolism by eating too little. I'm trying to lose my last couple (7ish) lbs, so I have it set to .5 lbs/week, giving me a deficit of about 220 cals/day. It is potentially a problem if I'm frequently (3-4 x/week) under by an additional 350ish (so an overall deficit of 570)?
