Hey guys, I need some help. The irl who teaches Zumba at my gym has decided to move back home and a few of ushave decided to throw her a going away party. Being that we are all trying to lose weight, I want to put together some fun but healthy finger foods for her party this weekend. Does anyone have any ideas? I love to cook and am always up for a challenge so don' worry if it is a recipe that takessome time. Also, I am sure people will want to drink some, does anyoe know of anny drinks or places I could find some lower calorie beverages?
I really appreciate your help...we are trying to convince her to stay!

my favorite low fat finger food is finely chop green onion
mix it in one block of softened fat free cream cheese
spread over whole wheat tortillas. Roll up, then slice.
The longer the onion sits in the cream cheese, the more flavor comes out !!
Good Luck. . . . .0 -

If you want easy chips and stuff, the baked ones (I love 100 Calorie Packs) can actually be a less-than-unhealthy alternative. I would consult a bar book, but I assume the 64 cal MGD and some clear liquor drinks will be what they point you to. I'm allergic to alcohol, so I'm almost no help in that area.
Have fun!! :drinker:0 -
Pre-heat oven to 350. Get some corn tortillas and spray not stick spray on both sides and on the pan. Cut into strips and salt lightly. Bake for 15 mins or until golden brown and crunchy. Ver low cal chips for some low cal dip!!!!
