I retired at the age of 58 on November 26 of this year after working for 30 years for the Post Office and find my self with the freedom to go work out everyday at the Y.
It is never too late to get started. My goal is to lose 46 lbs. and tone up with light weight lifting.
I can already feel the difference. The hardest part was just getting past that first week where you are sore. I truly admire all those people who can work a full time job and still manage to fit in a work out schedule. I know how hard it was to work all day, sometimes 10 hour days, sometimes different start times and then still try to find time to exercise. My hat is off to you.

I am also extremely happy, grateful and thankful every day to be alive after a battle with cancer last year that by the way I won after 10 months of Chemo and an operation to remove my spleen. Now I just have to lose those extra pounds and then some added on with the use of the steroids I had to take to get better.

Myfitnesspal is such a wonderful tool to use in this new chapter of my life. I am well on my way to a healthier me !
