Not an NSV, but a V all the same!

I weighed this morning and I officially weigh less than I did when I quit smoking!

I quit almost 5 years ago and promptly gained 30+ lbs which I struggled to lose for 4 years before realizing that I needed to do a complete lifestyle change, which I started last October. This weight was one of my goals and I have achieved it! I never thought I would see this day.

Congratulations!!! A victory is a victory!!! Great job!!!!! Keep up the hard work!
  • That is a beautiful thing!! I gained when I quit too, but it was so worth it I still can't believe I ever smoked let alone for over 20 years. So happy for you that you've hit that personal goal!
  • Congrats!!! I gained 20+ pounds from quitting smoking (just hit 10 months smoke free recently) I've lost 5 so far. Slowly but surely I will get there.

H-there was actually a time in my life when I considered taking up smoking to help me with weight loss. So glad I never did it. Cheers for you! You continue to be one of my biggest motivators and inspirations.
