Hi everyone!:flowerforyou:

I'm Kat, a stay at home mom of 4. I never really had a problem losing weight til the birth of my 4th child. She just turned 8 last weekend ( and I 39yrs) and i'm tired of being tired and over weight. I am preparing to do a motified diet plan i have had success on before plus exercising to achieve my goals. My oldest daughter graduates in june and i want to look some what decent in a dress. The only problem i have is finding time to workout. My husband & I (plus help from our kids) are renovating a large almost 6,000 sqft 1904 building that was built as a hotel then trasformed into apts in the 1930's. We have been working on it for almost 2yrs and I doing something every day. (paint, stain, take out walls, dry wall....) plus the day to day things that need to be done (laundry, cooking...)
I'm starting out slowly. I did 15 mins on the tread mill this morning and plan on doing more later.
Kat

Keep track of the work you do on the building you will be surprised how many calories you will burn doing some of those things. The everyday things like cleaning house will burn a ton of calories too. Just keep track and log it all. Good luck.:flowerforyou: And don't forget the water lots of water. It has helped me.

Congrats on your weight loss and your resolve to take time for yourself. I find it helpful to plan out meals and snacks in advance. This has been a tremendous help to me. That way, I don't have to guess what to eat and I can stay on target. Your day sounds very busy so maybe focus on your caloric intake as you improve your diet your energy level will increase and your weight will decrease which will encourage you to exercise more.
