SWEAT!

Putting this in "Success Stories" because for me this is a version of a NSV.
When I started working out roughly 3 years ago. I went to every class with 2 head bands and a full size bath towel. And, all were needed through out a 90 min Capoeira class.
This started to change this spring as I finally got it through my head that I needed to eat better as well as exercise to lose weight!
This past Wednesday night I lead the warm-up in my Capoeira class. As we went through my little routine I kept my focus on making sure that I was explaining & showing the movements correctly. When it was finally over, I felt that I had done a poor job as I had barely broken a sweat and felt no soreness, anywhere. This was until I looked around the class and saw everyone diving for their towels and water bottles!
Then last night at my JKD class we had a pretty decent warm-up and then worked on grappling. After about an hour my partner needed to take a break for water and rest. I still had lots of energy and drive to keep on going!
I am sooooo glad that I am no longer the sweaty fat guy trying to keep up!
Now, I can focus on improving my technique rather than just wishing I could go through a class without leaving puddles everywhere I stand!

Way to go! Funny, I just noticed this week that I was sweating less during my cardio, and I was wondering if maybe I wasn't working hard enough. Maybe I am, and I'm just in better shape too! Thanks for the insight!0
