Has anybody out there with flat feet tried Brooks Pure Project shoes and did you find it as a good minimalist shoe for your flat feet?

I don't have flat feet, but I love my Pure Connects, and I am going to pick up the Pure Flow tomorrow. The nav band provides awesome arch support. The only problem I have had is rubbing on the back of my heel, but I am going to try getting a larger size to see if that helps.

Have you tried the shoe adviser on Brook's webpage?

I wear Brooks Pure Connects. I got them when they were released last October and I love them. I ran the Philadelphia marathon in mine last November!! I had been wearing a stability shoe for years...... my previous go-to shoes were Mizuno Wave Inspires, but they changed the fit of the model so I was looking for something else. I have also worn Asics and Brooks Ravennas.

Wearing the Pure Connects has changed my stride completely.... I am now a midfoot striker instead of a heel striker. And, my shin pain (which was chronic) has now completely resolved. I LOVE these shoes..... I won't wear anything else!!

I will say the women's shoes at least - seem to be better for a narrower foot. And there is arch support which I have heard is bothersome from others. I like it though.

    I say try them!

I Might give the Brooks Pure Contacts a try since I still have chin pain (not as much as before) and have high arches. I'll wait until my Saucony Grid Profile get more mileage on them though. It is still a good light shoe but I want my chin pain to go away completely.
