People who are losing around 100lbs..... or have lost already
Are you noticing your body sagging? It's something that is worrying me a bit. I'm going to lose regardless of course.... but I'm afraid that my body wont look as good as I want it to.

If you lose weight slowly you should not see a whole lot. Your skin should bounce back. I see a few wrinkles in my under arm area (I carry fat in my arms) but it is nothing major.0

That is a possibility of course. You do have youth on your side though, which means your skin will probably be more likely to pop back. I am noticing sag around my abdominal area because as a guy, that is where most of my body fat goes and will be the last to come off. Being 50, my skin is much less likely to pop back.
Just go for your goal and concentrate on your weight loss for right now. That is the most important thing for you. Don't worry about the other. Cross that bridge if and when you have to, after reaching you weight goals. Good luck!!0 -
Honey, I'm confused.
Is that you in your profile pics?
Are they recent pics?
Where is your 100lbs??
To answer your question, the more strength training/weight lifting you do, the better toned your body will be and sag less.0 -

Yes I have lost a fair bit and have noticed the extra skin is now being located in my abdominal area.:grumble: ..but even as I continue on my journey that has gotten much less noticeable there and has lessen as I continue working out with weights so continuing to eat healthy, tone and continue with cardio is in my plans.
I much prefer being healthy over worrying about excess skin at this point. As shared already, losing it slowly will help with that as well:flowerforyou:
My weight dropped off more quickly than I would have preferred but it simply did, my body was ready to drop the excess weight and it did just that, I figure it knew what it was doing and what it needed
. I have a road ahead of me but I am not worried I know this is a lifetime journey, and I relish the journey, I find I am able to do so much more becaues of my health being good now and my body having gotten much more mobile, flexible, etc.
I suggest eating healthy, kicking in some workouts and trying not to worry to much about the end results but just going day by day and you'll be amazed how fast those days add up to monthes and years.
All the best to you,

I'll be honest....I have sagging skin! I lost 120 lbs. - I think my problem is - I've gained and lost so many times, that my skin's elasticity is just gone! I've heard that happens w/ yo-yo dieting. The difference is - this time it's for good....but my skin is just worn out. On the GREAT side....clothes cover it up - and I look GREAT (dressed) :-) I'm 43...you are 21...you should be fine :-)0

I've lost almost 60lbs, I'm 24 years old and I have sagging skin. But it's not excessive and it's slowly getting better. If the only options you had were be fat (obese) and suffer the illnesses that go along with it forever or be thin, fit and healthy with a bit of sagging skin, which would you choose?0

I don't know what your workout program is like, but try adding weights if you aren't already doing so. This will help with muscle tone as you lose the fat. I still have some sag in my stomach, but the more I concentrate on toning with weights, the less noticable it is. Good luck in your journey to become a healthier person!!0

I'll choose the sag :laugh:0
