That's cool.
I run because it feels liberating, and I don't want to go back to 'the pen'.0 -
Haha... NICE!0

That's me all right. Hang a wedge of cheese off a stick, dangle it in front of me, and watch me go!
Although so far the best I've managed is a shambling sort of jog. But I'll get faster and then I'll catch dessert sooner!0 -
Because I can. When you aren't physically able to run for decades, and then finally are, it is a pretty freakin' awesome feeling0
-
I run because it feels great. It's the only thing that makes me look forward to working out.0
-
Because a couple of cops are chasing me0
-
Because it's the best form of stress relief for me0

Love all of these! Found the pic on pininterest I run because of yes, food, but because it's a stress reliever, I feel amazing, can clear my head, it's good for me, and I am training for a half marathon.0

Hey!! That's Lululemon! I like their stuff but its pretty pricey!0

I run because:
It helps me loose weight
It makes me feel accomplished
I love to be outside and enjoy the scenery
I like to push myelf to do better each time
It's a great stress reliever and antidepressant
I get time to listen to my music and "rock out"
I can!0 -
I run because I used to hate running. But I used to hate running because I was a chubby kid who got made fun of for trying sports. So I run because nobody discourages me from doing it anymore.
I also run to stay in shape for the ultimate frisbee team I play on in the Spring/Summer
And because it reduces my anxiety levels - a huge relief for me!
And because it clears my head
And because it makes me set goals that I can acheive
And because it costs next to nothing (no membership fees, no real expensive sports equipment...)
And because... I could probably just keep going on and on and on... :P0 -
I run because before or after a long stressful day, I can feel the stress roll out of my body into my feet onto the blacktop. Makes me feel so liberated and free!0

Substitute BACON for dessert and that's my rationale
Also endorphins, and zoning out, and feeling good, and all that crap!0 -
That's the truth! lol. I run because I like the big calorie burns. I lost 70 lbs with MFP + 100% running.0
-
That's the truth!! I run because I have no excuse not to0

I run because I love how I feel after a run and it's an awesome way to beat stress.0

******WARNING**** the following in the snarky comment mandated in all threads.
I run so that the pack of wild dogs chasing me will not eat me and so I can laugh at the baddies when there sagging pants fall around their ankles. But more seriously I run because it is a great weight reducer, great cardio improver and it’s a freebie exercise.0 -
Because it's the best form of stress relief for me
Yesss!!! Totally agree. I am just a beginner and I love it, it's becoming my new hobby :-) It energizes me!!!
I wanna train myself and run my first 5 k.0 -
It's in my profile... I run because the Doctor might pick me as his next companion! Plus I want to be able to run if my life depended on it!0

I love the feeling of knowing it is me controlling my pace and the distance I achieve. It is my run and no one else's. I am addicted to running0 -
