Protein supplements

I'll try it in the blender bottle then putting it in a regular water bottle. My guess I'll go back to ON - just sucks because this was a huge container! I have a habit of buying grape flavored things too. I manange to get it down but it's not my favorite. The ON was a much better taste.
stick with xtend, ON amino energy does taste great I had a sample and loved it, but xtend is the much better bcaa supplement of the two.0 -
I take Nutiva Hemp protein (chocolate flavor), Nutiva Hemp protein & Fiber & Primal fuel Vanilla flavored only to fill in my protein intake because I don't eat meat & I'm anemic. I alternate them each week.0

I use the pro complex whey in Vanilla. It's 260 calories with 60g of protein per serving ( 2 scoops).0

The absolute best protein you can buy is the Garden of Life Beyond Organic Raw Protein Powder. It's just sprouted beans, legumes, and such.0

I never said it's fake whey.
There are too many questions concerning health risks concerning rBST (genetically modified growth hormone) and I choose not to ingest it. I did my research and that's how I feel. I would rather eat more natural. Same thing with artificial sweeteners. Just giving my opinion just like everyone else.
Just to let you know, the United States is the only developed nation to permit humans to drink milk from cows given artificial growth hormone (rBST).
and artificial flavoring.....just look at the back of optimum nutrition under ingredients. Better yet, here it is:
Protein Blend (whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, whey peptides), cocoa (processed with alkali), artificial flavors, lecithin, acesulfame potassium, Aminogen®, lactase.
It does say artificial flavors. So, my source of information is right on the package.

I never said it wasn't processed. All whey protein powders go through some processing. But how do they differ? The best whey protein powder should be UNHEATED, cold temperature processed.
I buy different protein powders all the time. Some whey (which states cold processed, rBST Free and no artificial sweeteners), Hempseed protein or Pea protein. Go on google and search for rBST free protein powders. If they don't have a rBST Free label than the whey is treated with it.0 -
I'm thirding the Gasperi Myofusion Vote..The stuff really is delish. I just bought milk chocolate and it tastes like liquid pudding.. I buy it at my gym, but for a two pound tub it's only like 24 dollars or something.0

Just for clarity, the ON Gold Standard Natural products do not contain artificial flavors .....

Soy, egg white and whey proteins are best cycled one day on - one day off.
EAS is a solid brand, and there are others.
But I always encourage people to go with whole foods when they can - boil 4 eggs, toss the yoke on 3 - great protein.
Lean meats and fish. Some beans.
I like what Jack LaLanne used to say: "If man makes it, don't eat it".0 -

Why do you believe this? It makes absolutely no sense at all.0
