Can you take too many fish oil tablets? Obviously anything eaten too much is bad, but in general what is a safe max per day?

The usual recommendation is 4000mg a day of EPA & DHA omega-3 from fish oil to lower triglycerides and prevent heart disease. The American Heart Association has now come around and is recommending 2000-4000mg a day of omega-3 to lower triglycerides.I don't think they are toxic at any amount. But like you said, too much of anything is bad.0
