Belly button piercings and weight loss?

I got my belly button pierced early April at 140lbs (it was my third time, the other two times I was 165lbs)

Since April, I slowly gained weight over the summer. I peaked at 157 in August from stopping some of my meds. Then I have been working to lose this weight since then. Slowly lost to 150 then plateaued...

Then I started taking a new medication and dropped to the original 140 in just a couple weeks! My piercing suddenly feels like its brand new again!

One month of no weight loss and then...

These last two weeks I lost 10 pounds and I'm now 131. I notice the bottom sticking out more. I think it pulls when I'm laying in bed, or lifting something against my stomach.

Anyone go through something similar? Does it heal on its own once you stop losing weight?

Edit: The 10 pounds in a couple weeks sounds crazy, but I have really long plateaus in between. My meds also have weight loss as a side effect.

First, it seems a bit unhealthy to have lost 10 lbs in two weeks at your weight. Second, I'm not sure about weightloss and your bellybutton, but I know that I need to use titanium for my piercing because my skin is really sensitive. Perhaps it's the metal, not the weightloss.
