Not making much progress

I have been at it for nearly 4 weeks now and have only lost 2 pounds. I am disappointed because I was hoping I would lose more. I will admit that I do not exercise during the week. I need to change that. I have made small progress by taking the stairs at work.
I can't seem to fit exercising into my week. I work two different schedules and we are very busy. I am tired when I get home and it is dark, so I can't walk at night. The few gyms we have are expensive and I don't want to commit to a year with monthly credit card drafts. I am thinking of trying 3 months which has no joining fees (ridiculously high). Does anyone have any ideas how I can jump start my exercising?
I think if I burned more calories through exercise, the amount of food I eat would be ok.

Without out being able to see your diary, you're not going to get a lot of good advice. I would open it so people can see what could be hindering your weight loss.
I have been at this for almost 2 months and I have only 'walked' once. I don't believe you have to exercise to lose weight. I am consistently losing an average of 2 pounds a week.
As for exercising...you can check out the OnDemand section and find some exercise videos. You can also just run up and down stairs in your house....or you can do DVDs that you can rent from the library. If you want to do something, you'll find a way to do it.
Good luck and I hope you find the reason for the slow weight loss. Its got to be frustrating!!0
