  • Hi there,
I gained after I had my kids. I think it was all the nursing, it made me a munchie monster and I was on my butt all the time! I am looking to lose 40-50 lbs, add me as a friend and we can keep each other going!
    congratulations by the way!

I'm finding it a balance between eating enough (I'm breast feeding, so I need minimum 1700 calories a day) and not going overboard. For me, 45 minutes of exercise 4 times a week (or more) makes a big difference. I can eat quite a lot more, not feel hungry, and still lose. I go to the library and check out the exercise DVDs (FREE!!!) put my little guy in the swing, and just do it first thing in the morning (he kicks and waves his fists and smiles so I think he likes it too!). So much more energy, my brain works better (super important!), and I feel better.

Also make sure to drink plenty of water and watch your sodium. When you're well hydrated and have your electrolytes in balance, it's easier to eat better, I've found. Fewer cravings, etc.

Feel free to send me a friend request

I AM ONE OF THOSE MAMAS :) two kids, 4 and 1 and a half and still haven't lost it. But that is because I just didn't eat right or exercise. I hated the idea of both. But I have really been trying. If I don't eat great I will exercise 10 minutes... if I do eat right I will try to exercise but if I don't I wont stress but having a baby makes it tough. Just fit 10 minutes in atleast 3 times a week and you will see something happen its been 10 days and I have lost 1lb :) Keep going! GOOD LUCK
