i am going to start mantaining my weight soon and coming off my diet. does anyone have any tips for mantaining and upping your calories while coming off a diet so you dont gain ? please help ! xx

this! increase your cals by 100 per week for a few weeks till you get to MFPs maintenance. you may then find that you can actually go higher, as MFP says my maintenance is 1600 but i am actually netting 1900.
you will of course have to eat ALL your exercise cals as well. And you should have a maintenence range, not one fixed number, as you will find that your weight will fluctuate. My range is 122-126lbs, and i weigh myself every couple of days as i am still working out exactly how many cals i need. i have learnt how my weight fluctuates, so i dont worry if i am up or down a few pounds as long as i dont get over 126 for a sustained period.0 -

May I ask why you should increase slowly? Is this to prevent a gain?0
