PHENTERMINE

If you're going to bash, you can exit now! I do not feel the need to explain WHY I am on this medicine or my life story. Point is, I'm on it.
I have a few MFP friends who are on/have used this medicine before but it'd be nice to have some more! I'm scared to post my losses because I don't want to hear the "you're losing too fast". "you're doing it wrong" comments.
But today was day #4.....
Day #4...my thoughts are...OMG IS THIS STUFF STILL WORKING?! No heartburn. No dry mouth. Didn't feel like I was going to puke when I had to think about or look at food (as I had felt the previous days).....I'm probably overly paranoid but my brain is saying "I knew this was too good to be true! Now it's going to stop working all of a sudden!" But I didn't over eat today, and didn't feel the urge to either so I suppose it's still doing it's job. Although I complained about how awful the heart burn was, for some reason I like having a little bit of the side effects just because it makes my mind feel at ease "ok...it's working. I can feel it because I have ____ side effect". I think I'll feel better tomorrow if I step on the scale and I am still seeing progress (or at least not a gain. I'm not going to stress that it HAS to be a loss...just not a gain!)...then I'll relax a little! haha.
Anyways...any other phentermine users (past or present) feel free to add me or share your progress!

I am on Day 2 now. I have energy, but am not jittery. The dry mouth is the only unpleasant side effect I am having. I am on the lipotronic shot, phentermine and metformin. I havent weighed yet. I am going to wait for the one week mark before I do. I am not sickened at the sight of food, just not very interested in it. I can tell that I am going to have to figure out what I am going to eat ahead of time and plan for it. otherwise, I can see me just not eating, and I know that wont work long term. I am very excited for this kick in the butt....... I hope I can give you SUPER good news on Monday!0

I lost almost 40 pounds in the last three months with it but for the last month I've had really bad dizzy spells, pounding heart and recently depression. I went to my doctor yesterday and blood pressure was really really high, around 160/110. He said if you take Phentermine, you should take it for three weeks and then take one full week off completely. So this week I am taking the week off. I'm hoping the scary side effects will ease up. Just try to stay in tuned to how you feel and don't shrug off anything just because you are losing weight.0

I've used it in the past they say it's not good to take on a long term basis but I have in the past I don't know what your dose is but you really don't need a full does you can take half a dose which is like 15mg and it works just fine. Then that way if after a while you build up a resistance to it you can up it to a full.0

I thought I would add...after my last post I never went back on Phentermine. It took 7 weeks for blood pressure to go back down to normal. My hair started to fall out. Really scary. Please be careful and don't use it too long.0

I have been on phentermine for for a month now and have lost 16 pounds. I was on the lowest possible dose simply because i've always been scared to take diet pills. I recently increased my dose and feel great!0

I have been on it for a week and I've lost 10lbs, but I was eating low cal and exercising before it, and lost 30lbs, so now it just gave me a little more boost to hold my cravings down in the evening. I went back to the dr yesterday and my blood pressure was good, and I have not had any side effects. So...I am excited about how much I will have lost by the end of my 30 days~ Good luck to you that are on it!0

I started on it last Wednesday and i was sitting at 169=(. The first day i got really really jittery but was better the second day. However i am never hungry i feel like i have to force myself to eat. I am using this tool to help me jump my weight loss and get me used to eating smaller portions and to stop my cravings. It takes 21 days to make a habit or something like that so i am hoping i am able to keep up with it once i am off. I have tried to do the low calorie diet by myself and never succeed this is the first time i have gone 4 straight days doing well and i feel great not irritated or anything. And have lots of energy. I did weigh my self on Friday and i was 163
Does anyone have a hard time even getting passed 500 calories?0 -
I've used it, and it works...some days I had issues even eating 300 calories. Which isn't good for me, so I stopped taking it. I was becoming skinny-fat, which I don't want. But it's great when you're first starting out at a higher weight.
I got to where I was breaking the pills in half, then I just stopped.0
