Pregnancy Motivation?

Is anybody else losing weight to get pregnant? I have a 8 year old and have been trying for 3 years now for another. I have what they call "unexplained infertility". My doctor has been urging me to lose weight for the last year. I have about 40 more lbs to drop.

I am in a way. We haven't tried for our 2nd yet (waiting until after my friend gets married this summer because I'm the MOH), but I want to lose the weight I gained with my 1 year old before I get pregnant again. We will probably start trying again in August.

You are doing well so far with losing 7 pounds, keep it up!

I am. We have been trying for number two for the good part of 2011. I guess I will need to make a doctor's appointment for Jan or Feb to see what, if anything, is wrong. I am sure that losing weight will help though!

It is frustrating though isn't it?
