hi,
I thought I read somewhere on this site that it is normal to gain weight at the beginning of this weight loss journey.

I am freaking out, cuz I am working out 30 -45 min per day, 4-5 times a week (including strength training); I am eating right.....and I am seeing an increase on the scale.

This is my first serious week.

Maybe 2 weeks of dieting/working out.

Any thoughts?

Thanks! (I am extremely nervous nothing is going happen!!! and i will gain weight or stay the same!!!!)

Hang in there another week, your number will go down. That happened my first week, up 2 lbs. Now back down 2 lbs. Make sure to drink you water too. And don't weigh everyday.

My body absolutely tortures me! I am down a pound one day up .8 next day - a couple days later down 2 - my weight fluctuates big time.

Make sure you are eating enough including exercise calories. I think it will happen for you but patience is the hardest part isn't it?! :noway:

Good luck - you are doing what's best for your body - exercise and eating right!

Oh yeah - don't forget the water....
