TODAY!

Today is the day I finally take control of my eating and exercising again! I WILL take the time to track calories. I WILL watch my sodium intake (altering that is what finally broke my plateau last time), NO MORE cookies and sweets EVERY day (only on my weekly cheat day), NO MORE eating what must be 2,000+ calories daily (most foods of which have way too much saturated fat). NO MORE skipping my exercising each week. I WILL go to the gym 5 days a week. I usually do Zumba Mon/Wed nights, step aerobics Tues/Thur morning, and personal trainer Friday. I also bought a small elliptical (no handle bars) and haven't used it in the month to month and a half it's been here, so I plan to use that for a short time at home on the weekends.
I have worked so hard for 2 years, slipping off the bandwagon from time to time for various reason, but it's never been a period as long as this one. I was 182 lbs in November 2009 and got down to 151 lbs in mid-July of this year. As of last Friday when I weighed, I was back up to 161.2. I feel awful that I have managed to gain 10 lbs back in 5 months, but I hope it won't take near that long to knock it off again. I am very motivated right now, and I see this as a challenge. I WILL eat right and exercise appropriately again. I know I will feel so much better when I am back in that habit.
