What do you see when you look at the mirror/pictures?

I was in a wedding this past weekend. I have been losing because I wanted to look good. I spent a lot of money too. And while I don't think I looked bad, I didn't really like the way that I looked in the pictures and I was disappointed. I started this journey because I didn't want to be unhappy with my appearance anymore. I feel somewhat discouraged.

Does anyone else feel this way ever?

How do you shake those feelings so that you can focus on what is important?

I'm no help, I feel the same way. In fact, I delete all pictures of me that end up on our camera.

In the mirror, I see a gorgeous girl making good progress on her weight loss journey. I think it's because I'm feeling healthier and am normally getting ready for the day and happy. I don't scrutinize about my weight and my figure then, I just see myself.

When I see a picture of myself, it makes me feel awful and disgusting. But then I remember that these are just moments captured along my journey. Pictures later on will be wonderful. I try and focus on how I see myself in the mirror.

There's no reason to find these things to make you upset. That's just counterproductive. Focus on how much better you're probably feeling. Besides, those pictures aren't going to get better if you just give up now.

I still have issues with the mirror and pictures, because my biggest area and ym most stubborn area is by thighs. It is taking forever to lose from there. it is driving me nuts. so until those get small, I will have a hard time with the mirror and pictures
