On-the-Go Apple 'n Peanut Butter

1 Granny Smith or other tart apple
1 Tbsp. Skippy® Creamy or Super Chunk® Peanut Butter

1. Evenly slice apple into 8 slices. Cut core and seeds from each slice. Spread Skippy® Creamy Peanut Butter on both sides of each slice, then #34;glue#34; apple back together. Tightly wrap in plastic wrap.

2. Grab it and eat on the go! Great for kid's lunch boxes.

SERVES: 1

Nutrition information per serving using 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter:
Calories: 150
Calories from fat: 70
Saturated fat: 1.5g
Trans fat: 0g
Total fat: 8g
Cholesterol: 20mg
Sodium: 75mg

    I have also cored the apple (using a cylindrical corer that I found at the grocery market), cut into slices, then put back into the 'ball' shape and put the peanut butter in the middle. It works well too!
